Multi-Platinum artist Andy Grammer headlines entertainment lineup for the 2017 Belmont Stakes Racing Festival

The New York Racing Association announced today that acclaimed multi-platinum pop singer and songwriter Andy Grammer will headline the entertainment lineup for the 2017 Belmont Stakes Racing Festival. The event will also include a performance from the hit Broadway musical On Your Feet! as well as a previously announced performance from acclaimed Billy Joel tribute band Mike DelGuidice and Big Shot.

Featuring world-class racing coupled with premium hospitality and entertainment, the Belmont Stakes Racing Festival, from June 8-10 at beautiful Belmont Park, has quickly become a popular kick-off event to the summer season in New York. Highlighted by the 149th running of the Grade 1, $1.5 million Belmont Stakes, the three-day event will feature 33 races, including 18 stakes, offering more than $10 million in purses.

Andy Grammer is all about inspiring and empowering the world by communicating his truths through his music. He has taken the music world by storm with a succession of anthemic pop hits. His current single and global smash hit "Fresh Eyes" reached No. 27 on Spotify's Global Chart, has surpassed 200 million streams and has 20 million cumulative YouTube/VEVO views. The song was Grammer's fifth hit single certified gold or better. His debut album featured the platinum singles "Keep Your Head Up" and "Fine By Me." Grammer's second album, Magazines or Novels, featured the triple platinum infectious smash hit "Honey, I'm Good," which was one of the best-selling songs of 2015, and the certified gold anthem "Good to be Alive (Hallelujah)."

The Chester, New York native will perform a short set just prior to the Belmont Stakes on June 10. Immediately following the conclusion of the day's live racing schedule, Grammer will lead a special, post-race concert near the 'Top of the Stretch' at Belmont Park.

Fans will also enjoy a trackside performance from the highly-acclaimed Broadway hit On Your Feet! on Belmont Stakes Day, just prior to the Mohegan Sun Met Mile. Featuring Theater World Award-winning Cuban-American actress Ana Villafañe as Gloria Estefan and acclaimed Puerto Rican performer Ektor Rivera as Emilio Estefan. On Your Feet! is a Broadway musical based on the life story of seven-time Grammy winning singer Gloria Estefan and her husband, 19-time Grammy-winning producer-musician Emilio Estefan. It is in its second smash hit year at Broadway's Marquis Theater.

Grammer and On Your Feet! join the full Belmont Stakes Racing Festival's entertainment line-up, which will include a trackside performance by acclaimed Billy Joel tribute band Mike DelGuidice and Big Shot on Friday, June 9. The group is the only tribute band whose members belong to the multi-platinum and Grammy Award-winning performer Billy Joel's band.
